“COMFORT FROM THE LORD – II”
SCRIPTURE READINGS: Isaiah 40:1-5
We bless the name of the Lord for another wonderful day. Today we shall look at what happens when the comfort of God comes. Many transformations take place in our lives when we are comforted by the Lord. The word of God says in John 8:36 that if the Son sets you free, then you shall be free indeed.
The comfort we received from the Lord was the coming of his only son to the world. His son came so that we may be free from all things. When we receive the comfort of God, then we shall no longer be slaves to sin and the devil but we shall be legitimate children of God (John 1:12).
When the comfort of God comes, the glory of the Lord shall also be revealed and everyone shall see what has happened to you (Isaiah 40:5).
The Lord even gave us the Holy Spirit our comforter as a deposit, Hallelujah! Do not be moved by what comes your way but be moved by the word of God. The mouth of God has spoken and nothing can hinder it from coming to pass.
The people that used to laugh at you shall see you and marvel. Those who wrote you off and called you good for nothing shall meet you and give glory to God because their eyes will not be able to contain what the Lord has done. When the Lord is involved there is no need for qualms. It shall surely end in praise.
Your struggle is over, child of God; lay it all down at the feet of Jesus and you shall be amazed at what will happen. May the Lord open your eyes to see the plans he has for you. It is not the time to give up but it is the time to seek the comfort God has in store for you.
Thank you, Jesus for the saving grace. Lord, Open my eyes to all the good things you are doing in my life and help me to be grateful each day.
