COVETOUS THINKING – 1

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

HEBREWS 13:5

The Lord was teaching me one day about covetous thinking and covetousness; and he said, “There is a difference between covetous thinking and covetousness. Covetousness wants something that belongs to someone else. In the book of Exodus, the Bible said: “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s goods”. But the Lord told me, “That is not what I am talking about.” Apostle Paul warned us about the end time in the book of 2 Tim. 3:1 and he talked about the fact that in the end time perilous times shall come.

We are living in the days of Babylon and all the signs that talk about the end time are being fulfilled in our days. Apostle Paul said that when you see these signs, it means that the end is near; it does not mean that the end has come but it is very near. Men will be lovers of themselves. I said Lord, you don’t want me to love myself. He said, “There is nothing wrong in loving yourself but if you love yourself at the expense of loving me, it becomes dangerous.

I have just begun the journey of covetous thinking; it is different from covetousness. Most of you will not want what belongs to others but you have a certain mindset about it. You can criticize everything someone has why? It’s all because of covetous thinking.
