Theme: Healing and Deliverance

Topic: Deliverance will Come

Scripture Reading:
Luke  13:10-17; Luke 4:18-19; Acts 1:4-8

Main Text:
Habakkuk 2:3
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

The promises of God are true and they all come to pass (2 Corinthians 1:20). His timing may not sync with our timing, nevertheless He is sure to perform that which He has promised. In Judaism, the  number “18” is represented by the Hebrew word ‘chai’ which means life. After eighteen years of suffering from this sickness God  injected life into her (Luke 13:11).

Although she was a daughter of Abraham, she had been bound by satan, but her time of deliverance came when the glad tidings of the Gospel reached her. The Scriptural significance of the number 18 gives you the faith and hope that you will be delivered from captivity when the set time for the impartation of life comes.

The  children  of  Israel were  subservient  to  Eglon  the  king  of  Moab,  after  doing  evil  in the  sight  of  the  LORD. After  serving  him  for  eighteen  years  they cried  unto the  LORD  and  He  raised  Ehud  the  son  of  Gera,  as  a deliverer  for  them (Judges 3:12-15). Life returned to normalcy in Israel after  eighteen  years  of  bondage.

1. Pray for the patience to wait for the time of your miracle.
2. Pray also for the endurance to go through the period of waiting.
