Topic: GROW IN KNOWLEDGE

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning, and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

PROVERBS 1:5

No matter how endowed you are, if you are not a learner, your wisdom will soon become stale. This is because when you stop learning, you start dying. Daniel was an addicted learner. He said, “I Daniel understood by books” (Dan 9:2). Though he was supernaturally endowed with wisdom, he was still an addicted learner. That was how he kept the river of wisdom flowing. If you are not a learner, you are not a candidate for fresh wisdom from God.

Meditation also helps you to tap into your heritage of wisdom. The Psalmist said in Psalm 119:97&99 “Oh how I love your law. It is my meditation all the day…. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for your testimonies are my meditation”. Meditation entitles you to the flow of divine wisdom. Solomon said, “And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.” (Eccl 1:13). Solomon was addicted to the act of meditation. Reading only informs you but reasoning enlightens you. Therefore, you need to begin reasoning in the Word for a fresh flow of divine wisdom.

PRAYER:

Pray and ask God to help you to be a student of His Word.
