INVOKE BLESSINGS BY SAM KORANKYE ANKRAH
Hallelujah, We bless God for the gift of life and another glorious and beautiful week. I want us to consider what God’s blessings mean and how to invoke these into your life.
“The Lord will give you prosperity in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, blessing you with many children, numerous livestock, and abundant crops.”
Deuteronomy 28:11 NLT
God’s blessings come to give a total and fulfilling life. It completes you and sets you apart. What does it therefore mean to walk in the blessing of God? Let’s consider the Hebrew meaning and origins of God’s blessing:
1. BERAKAH means to be joyous, happy and elated. This is the general blessing of God that every child is entitled to. It brings happiness and the gift of life, peace, and health.
2. MAKARIOS means to be enviable and favored. This blessing makes you an envy to many.
3. EULOGÉÕ. This blessing comes in three definitions. First, it means to celebrate with thanksgiving and praises; it also means to invoke God’s blessing over something or a situation; and finally, means to invoke a blessing over one’s life.
King David, when he experienced these blessings, he invoked over his life, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Psalm 118:17
Invoke these blessings:
I invoke covenant blessings over my life, children, and my house; blessings over my resources, the work and produce of my hands. I will not go without God’s daily provision in Jesus’ name. Amen.
