Month Theme: Purpose and Divine Assistance

Topic: Present to Save

Scripture Reading:

Acts 12:1-9; Daniel 3:23-27

Main Text:

Daniel 3:25

25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Being conscious of the presence of “the fourth man” who was with the young Hebrew men gives you victory over the fire. The apostle Peter had a similar experience to the intervention of “the fourth man” when he was thrown into prison. He was tortured like a person in fire and the angel of the Lord – like the “the fourth man” – went and released him (Acts 12:6-9).

The apostle’s chains fell off his hands the same way as “the fourth man” loosed the young Hebrew men. “The fourth man” is present to loose God’s people from prison and bondage. When Peter was loosed from bondage and released from prison, he thought it was a mere vision he had seen. He could not believe he had been delivered from imminent death.

God specialises in delivering His people from bondage and He does it in unimaginable ways. The children of Israel experienced God’s saving power so many times. In some instances when God delivered them from captivity they thought they were dreaming (Psalm 126:1-3). The situation you find yourself in right now may look impossible to come out of. Nevertheless, nothing is impossible in the presence of “the fourth man”. God will send His angel to deliver you from bondage.

1. Pray and declare loosed, in the name of Jesus Christ, anything in or around your life that is bound.

2. Pray that you’ll always be conscious of the”fourth man”.
