SERVE GOD WITH YOUR TALENT BY PROPHET NANSEI OPOKU-SARKODIE
The Potters GUIDE
Prophet Nanasei Opoku- Sarkodie
THURSDAY JANUARY 31
SERVE GOD WITH YOUR TALENT
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teaches, on teaching.
Every talent and training you have, if it does not benefit the church, it has no generational blessing. Find something in the house of God and do, because you can be in church and not be in function. Every department in church renders service unto God. The ushers you see in church are serving God; cleaners in the church are also serving God, the drummer in Church is servicing God with his talent.
When you go to heaven, you are not going to account to God about what you did for man, but what you did for Him. I was trained as a building technologist; I have certificates in quantity surveying, but I have put them aside, and I`m now preaching.
The Bible says, “And you shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of you.” (Ex. 23:25) The reason some of us don’t get sick is that we are serving God wholeheartedly. If God should allow the devil to put sickness on me, how can I do His work? I went to a country in Africa and visited a particular church one day and I was told that, most of the people at the car park directing members on where to park their cars are bank owners; they are not bank workers but bank owners.
Why are we busily serving companies that do not even pay us well, and refusing to serve God who can bless us? May you from today discover an area in the house of God and serve Him with both your time and talent.
• Pray and ask God to help you discover an area in His house to Serve Him faithfully (1 Cor. 9:16-17)
• Doing nothing in the church is a manifestation of the spirit of pride and arrogance.
• Romans 12:6-8, 1Peter 4:10-11
1 YEAR BIBLE READING:
• Exodus 25-26 and Matthew 20:17-34
