SPEAK A NEW LANGUAGE. (A Language of Love)
SPEAK A NEW LANGUAGE.
(A Language of Love)
In Luke 10, the Bible talks about a lawyer who came to Jesus with a question, “what do I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus answered, “…to love God with all his heart as well as his neighbours (Luke 10:25-27). Jesus further told the story of the Good Samaritan, to underscore who a neighbour is.
In this story, a Jewish man was beaten and left half-dead on the street. While his brethren priest and Levite passed by, a Samaritan (a stranger to the Jew) decided to help and nurse him back to health.
The actions of the Samaritan was proof of His love for God and his neighbour.
According to Christ Jesus, to love God and your neighbour, is the greatest of the commandments. (Matt 22:37-40)
I encourage you today to speak this language of love. Let your actions, speech and all your ways speak the Language of Love to God and to all men.
Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is LOVE.
1 Corinthians 13:13 (NLT)
Pray with me:
Father, I thank you for today and the love you have shown towards me. I pray that you will give me the Spirit of Love that I may speak this language and live by it daily. This I ask in Jesus name, Amen.
