Theme: One Saint, One Soul

Topic: The Benefits of Soul Winning IV

Scripture Reading:

Luke 10:17-22

Main Text:

Psalm 118:17

“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.”

There is a comprehensive life insurance for those who answer the call of the great commission (Psalm 118:17). He said that every tree that bears fruits is pruned and cared for, that it will continue to bear more fruit (John 15:2).

Jesus gave indemnity over untimely death to the disciples He sent out. He promised to be with them always and that, “They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:18).

Apart from the comprehensive life insurance, a promise of distinction is reserved for those who turn many from darkness to light. Already, Proverbs 11:30 says “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” And here again, we are told that, “… they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever” (Daniel 12:3). Every soul winner is marked out for distinction. Like baby Jesus was born in obscurity and yet His star appeared in the sky leading the wise men to Him, even so shall your shinning bring your wise men carrying gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Pray for every minister who travels the length and breadth of the world carrying the Gospel to the nations of the earth, that God will preserve their lives.
