Theme: Healing and Deliverance

Topic: Your Glory is Restored

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 3:1-4; Luke 13:10-17; Luke 4:18-19;

Main Text:
Psalm 3:3
3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

People who are held captive by satan are bent over. The woman was bent over and could not lift herself up (Luke 13:11). This woman could not lift herself up to look at the sun, neither could she see all the things around her. Being bowed together must have been accompanied by unimaginable pain and discomfort.

She experienced restrictions like those of a person in chains. She could not engage in any meaningful work. Her social life was messed up. Those who are in captivity are disadvantaged, disoriented, distorted and disjointed. God lifts up the heads of His people when they are in situations of shame and despair. He restores our glory in due season and makes us confident (Psalm 3:1-4).

The LORD is your shield, your glory and the lifter up of your head. When you pray to Him, He hears you from His holy hill. There is help for you in God. The wicked expectations of those who seek your destruction would be disappointed.

Prayer:
1. Pray and command every crooked thing around you to be made straight.
2. Pray also for the restoration of any glory that was denied you.
